Cran-Raspberry Relish
Reasons not to buy canned cranberry sauce this year: 1) It's 2013. 2) You can make our fresh version in 10 minutes, without even turning on the stove. Just sayin'.
What you need
1 large orange
1 large sweet red apple, such as honey crisp
1 ½ cups fresh cranberries
¼ cup chopped dried dates
1/4 cup raspberries, pureed
2 tablespoons Tessemae’s Lemon Garlic
What to do
Peel, quarter, and slice the orange. Cut the apple off of the core and dice. Scoop both into your food processor, along with the cranberries and dates. Here is the trick of this relish: you don’t want to over process, just pulse for 1-2 seconds at a time until the fruit is pretty evenly chopped. Pour the mixture into a bowl and stir in the Lemon Garlic and pureed raspberries until evenly combined.
Make Ahead: This fresh relish can be made up to 1 day ahead, just stir in an extra tablespoon of Lemon Garlic before serving to make the flavor pop.
