The World’s Easiest Roast Chicken with Tessemae’s!
Just before the holidays, I was invited to attend the Produce Marketing Association’s annual Fresh Summit Convention in Atlanta with #TeamFreshSummit and KitchenPlay. What an incredible experience! Imagine wall-to-wall vendors with the most beautiful displays of fruits, vegetables, and flowers in all their glory. It was a dazzling sight.
One of the companies that I was thrilled to discover is #Tessemae’s All Natural Dressings, Marinades, and Spreads. The company is run by three brothers who started by selling their mother’s salad dressing, growing from a small home-based operation to a thriving company with over 20 products in less than five years.
Everything I tasted was amazing – and I am not using that term lightly. Delightful interpretations of classic flavors and intriguing new blends. Perfectly balanced to enhance any food you serve them with and much healthier than other similar products on the market. All the ingredients are natural and easy to pronounce – no chemicals! All of their products are gluten-free, sugar-free, and vegan friendly.
They have just launched their newest line of ORGANIC products! They are starting with six varieties, Soy Ginger, Caesar, Ranch, Lemon Garlic, Balsamic, and Green Goddess, and I’m sure we will see more in the future. There is something for everyone – my biggest challenge is choosing which one to use first!
To make their products even more tempting, they are giving all of my readers 10% off online orders placed through Feb 29th!! Just use discount code “HeritageCook”. They are also offering a $7 flat rate shipping cost during January (continental US only; does not include mayonnaise). You can also find their products at Whole Foods, Safeway, Costco, and more shops.
I was very impressed with their integrity. They take their commitment to their community and the health of their customers seriously. They believe in giving back. In an effort to bring attention to the growing epidemic of food deserts across the country (urban areas with no access to fresh food within 1 mile or rural areas with no access within 10 miles), they are executing pop-up farmers’ markets with other organizations in the heart of underserved areas nationwide. They call them “Crop Circles” and are working to bring local residents free fresh produce during each daylong event. If you are interested in helping, you can contact them and volunteer – they can always use more hands!
They are also kicking off the year by participating in Whole30 during January with 17 of their products certified Whole30 approved. It is a great way to help take off the extra pounds we gained over the holidays and start the new year on a bright note.
To follow their adventures and keep up to date on their newest products, you can find them on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and LinkedIn. I hope you take advantage of the discounts and try these wonderful products. I know you will fall in love with them just like I have!
I thought it would be fun to use one of their products in a Whole30 recipe (I used Lemon Garlic) that is so simple anyone can make it. Guys, if you want to impress your gal, make her dinner – it will win you major brownie points LOL. And if you let your little ones help you put this meal together, they will love the flavors and be proud of their work. When you get children involved, they are more likely to eat everything on their plates without complaint.
Enjoy this moist and tender chicken and have a wonderful weekend. We’ll see you on Chocolate Monday for another new treat!
