Broccoli Raisin Slaw
We love quick and simple dishes that work for us -- from easy weeknight dinners to potluck picnics.
What you need
I large head broccoli (or 2 small heads, about 1 1/2 pounds)
½ cup raisins
¼ cup sunflower seeds
¼ cup finely chopped red onion
2/3 cup Tessemae's Balsamic or Lemon Garlic Dressing
Coarse salt and fresh ground pepper
What to do
Trim the ends off of the broccoli separate the long stems from the crown. Thinly slice the florets. Peel the stem with a vegetable peeler, then thinly slice. (Or, cut broccoli down and feed through your food processor slicer.)
Combine the broccoli, raisins, sunflower seeds, red onion and Lemon Garlic Dressing. Let set at room temperature at least 15 minutes. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
