Hand Cut Fries with Sea Salt & Thyme
There's nothing better than dipping a hot fry in ketchup. Especially when they're homemade! These Hand Cut Fries with Sea Salt and Thyme are easier to make at home than you think.
Makes 4 servings
WHAT YOU NEED
3 medium russet potatoes¼ cup olive oil
Sea salt, to taste
1 tablespoon fresh picked thyme leaves
½ cup Tessemae’s Unsweetened Ketchup
WHAT YOU DO
- Heat oven to 425 degrees. Line 2 large rimmed baking sheets with parchment paper. Cut the potatoes into 3/8-inch-thick planks, then cut planks into 3/8-inch spears.
- Divide potatoes in even layers between baking sheets and toss with olive oil, salt and thyme.
- Bake for 15 minutes, then rotate pans, toss the fries, and bake until lightly browned, about 10 minutes more.
