Let us Help Cure Your Post St. Patrick’s Day Blues
St. Patrick's Day is seriously the best. When else do we have an excuse to drink green beer and eat pancakes all day? Um...never! This year, we had an excuse for a little too long, seeing as St. Paddy's Day fell on a Monday. This means that Annapolis has been celebrating since last weekend. Yes, last weekend. After a snow day today, (Hopefully you caught our round of Tessemae's Snow Angels), we need some serious R&R before heading back to work tomorrow.
For those of you who shoveled your way down to the pub for one last evening of shenanigans, here are some tried and true tips to make tomorrow just a little bit easier.

First thing’s first: hydrate and drink plenty of water. We recommend room temperature water, which is the easiest for your body to handle. Water always helps to cleanse and reset your system, especially after all of the salty, savory food that the Irish are so famous for. Try a page from the Vetter’s playbook. The brothers swear by a special combo of coconut water, green juice, coffee, kombucha, and pH balancing water, for a quick cleanse.
Next: Try for a nutrient over-load. I’m sure we could all keep eating that delicious corned corned beef and cabbage for days, but it helps to get back into the swing of things, with some nutrient dense foods such as a big bowl of leafy greens (topped with your favorite Tessemae’s dressing, of course!).
Finally: Get some sleep tonight! Hopefully you’re tired out after a long day of festivities, and can get some quality dreamin’ in before heading back to work tomorrow.
If you’re just not ready to let go of the Irish spirit yet, check out this link. Its Chef Kristen’s Irish Potato Leek Soup starring: Green Goddess, our newest dressing. It’s to die for, and will be sure to help cure the post St. Patty’s Day blues.
Wishing you one last bit of Irish luck!
