Hot Maryland Crab & Artichoke Dip
Preakness is almost here! If you are not a Maryland native, you may not realize just how big a deal this is. Time to dust off your shot glasses, look up what's in a Black Eyed Susan again, and make the best crab dip of your life. This is it people. Our super delicious, amazingly indulgent, primal friendly crab dip. It's based on an old family recipe that we have been making for decades and it is amazing. Happy Race Day!

1 jar (12 ounces) Tessemae’s Mayonnaise
1 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 cup fresh Maryland blue crab meat, drained well and picked through
1 teaspoon Tessemae’s Slow Roasted Garlic
Veggies and crackers, for serving

What you need
1 can (16 oz) artichoke quarters, drained and pat dry1 jar (12 ounces) Tessemae’s Mayonnaise
1 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 cup fresh Maryland blue crab meat, drained well and picked through
1 teaspoon Tessemae’s Slow Roasted Garlic
Veggies and crackers, for serving
What to do
- Heat your over to 375. Chop the artichokes. Combine with the mayo, parmesan, and Slow Roasted Garlic. Fold in the crab meat.
- Transfer to a baking dish and bake until bubbly around the edges and just warm in the center, 20 to 25 minutes. Do not stir during cooking.
- Serve with veggies and crackers.
Tip: Do not stir the dip during or after cooking. Eat this all at once, it does not reheat well! This recipe only uses a cup of crab. It's usually sold by the pound. To use up all that meat, round out your menu with some of these fine items: Chesapeake Crab Deviled Eggs, Crab Cake Sliders.
