Apple, Cherry, Pecan Salad with Balsamic Vinaigrette
This happy Fall salad is a fast and easy way to dress up dinner. The onions marinate in our Balsamic Vinaigrette, which takes away their bite and gives them a subtle sweetness. A perfect side for simple grilled meat!
Makes 4 servings
What you Need
½ red onion, thinly sliced
1/3 cup Tessemae’s Balsamic
5 oz baby spinach
2 apples, cored and thinly sliced
½ cup pecan halves
½ cup dried cherries
What you do
- In a small bowl, combine onion and 1/3 cup Tessemae’s balsamic. Let stand at least 15 minutes.
- Heat oven to 350. Spread pecans on a rimmed baking sheet and toast until fragrant, about 3 minutes. Let cool.
- In a large serving bowl, gently toss together the spinach, apples, pecans, cherries, and marinated onions with dressing. Serve with grilled meat for a complete meal!
