New York Steak with Garlicky Cauliflower Mash
This is how to indulge on your whole30!!! Perfect date night meal that's surprisingly fast and incredibly delicious.
Makes 2 servings
What you need
2 14oz New York Strip steaks
1 pound of riced cauliflower
¼ cup Tessemae’s Slow Roasted Garlic
1/3 cup Tessemae’s Creamy Ranch
1 cup thinly sliced watermelon radish
1 cup pea shoots (or any greens you like, you can use spinach, arugula, microgreens, etc.)
2 tablespoon’s Tessemae’s Lemon Garlic
coarse salt and freshly ground pepper
1 tablespoon ghee
What you do
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add rice cauliflower and cook until tender, about 10 minutes; drain. Place cauliflower in a blender with Slow Roasted Garlic and Creamy Ranch. Blend until smooth. Season with salt and pepper and blend again.
- Heat Lemon Garlic a heavy skillet over medium high. Pat the steaks dry with paper towel and season both sides with salt and pepper. Sear steaks 3-4 minutes on each side for medium rare. Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
- Toss peas shoots and watermelon radish with Lemon Garlic. Serve steaks with the cauliflower, topped with ghee, and the salad.
